Find the move in each picture and write it down in words (“rook takes the pawn on d7”), or in chess notation if you know it (Rxd7).
Worked example. White to move: move the knight to uncover a check and attack the queen.
Answer: Ne6+ Ke7 Nxg7. Ne6+ uncovers check from the rook on d1, and the knight checks too: a double check, so the queen can’t block or take. The king must move, then Nxg7 wins the queen.
