Live chess classes for homeschool co-ops

Give your co-op’s students a weekly live chess class with Coach Timothy Gene, on a shared board they join from any tablet, laptop or phone. Nothing to install, no chess sets needed.

Request a co-op demo call Book a class

A 20-minute video call: see the live board, the weekly topics and how families book. A demo call is not a free class.

How it works for a co-op

  1. Choose one of our weekly youth class times (Eastern Time) for your group.
  2. Each family creates a parent account and books that class, or a weekly plan for it, and pays for their own child. Parents stay in charge of their child’s account and messages.
  3. At class time, students join from their family’s account and learn together on the live board.

Price

Group classes are $20 per student, per class (up to 10 students). With a weekly group plan, 5 classes a week are $75.

What students learn

Each week has one clear topic, from how the pieces move to forks, pins, checkmate patterns, first openings and endgames. Students solve puzzles on their own boards and play friendly games against classmates, refereed live by the coach. See the 12-week syllabus.
